We have an immediate opportunity to join our team as an HTML Author/Coder.

This opportunity is open to current residents or those planning on moving in the near future to the NY/NJ metro area. This position is not eligible for company paid relocation.

Brief Description
We are seeking a web author to provide HTML coding of web pages for what are expected to be long-term, benefited opportunities. The author will code the HTML behind each web page, integrating artwork and text within the HTML. Additional responsibilities will include building tables, frames, and forms, modifying scripts within the browser, remaining up to date on the latest browser and plug-in technology, interacting with the design and technical staff to determine web content needs, and verifying content, grammar, and technical formatting.

Responsibilities
· Responsible for independent development, maintenance and growth of multiple web sites

· Develop high quality websites using HTML, PhP and JavaScript from designs provided by our designers

· Execute web site maintenance requests

· Develop high quality, front-end code following established industry best practices

· Evaluate initial mock-ups; make technology recommendations that support optimal construction, maintenance and performance

· Keep abreast of the latest developments in Internet technologies

· Achieve goals and objectives set by your manager

Required Skills
Team player with goal-oriented personality
Excellent communication skills, problem solving ability and strong organizational skills
Detail-oriented; able to work and manage deliverables in a timely manner.
Solid knowledge of using Dreamweaver / Photoshop / Fireworks / Flash

Working Conditions
Causal office environment

Needed Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

0-2 years of Web Development experience

Accountability and Direction from Management
Takes detailed instruction from project leader and executes based on this input

Follows established methodologies
