I am writing a paper on SaaS for IT Mgt course.

Was hoping some IT professionals would be interested in giving some perspectives to the questions below. Don't hesitate to answer a few, I know time is valuable and any feedback would be nice,

How have you integrated “on demand software solutions” into your core business?

How has your relationship with your “on demand” vendor differed from that of a traditional packaged software vendor or how would you describe your relationship?

How would you describe your in house IT staffs role(s) and responsibilities as it pertains to deploying/managing “on demand solution”

How do you feel that this differs from deploying and managing traditional software?

Describe to the best of your ability the IT staff’s feelings are moving to an “on demand software solution”? Has this changed over time?

Describe to the best of your ability your users feelings are moving to an “on demand software solution”? Has this changed over time?

Have you found any advantages/disadvantages to using a “on demand software solution” that you feel would not be “there” with a traditional on premise software package?
(I would like you highlight here if possible any surprising advantage/disadvantage that you feel were not apparent to after deploying and using the “on demand solution”.
